Lesson pricing & payment
How does pricing work?
Adults (monthly subscription): £130 per month, reserving a weekly 60-minute slot year-round.
School-aged students (term-based): £39 per 60-minute lesson, £33 per 40-minute lesson (for younger students).
Holiday lessons: can be arranged separately if needed.
What payment methods do you accept?
PayPal, Apple Pay, credit/debit cards, and bank transfers. Adult subscriptions renew automatically on the same date each month. Term invoices are sent before the start of term.
What if I miss a lesson?
I'll always try to offer a makeup slot when possible. Lessons are reserved for you in advance, so missed lessons can't automatically be refunded or rescheduled.
Lesson format & structure
How do lessons work?
One-to-one, usually 60 minutes (40 minutes for younger children). Sessions are structured around your goals: LCM grades, improvisation, songwriting, or just playing the songs you love.
Do you follow a syllabus?
Many students follow the London College of Music (LCM) syllabus. Exams are optional, but the framework provides a clear, motivating path.
Do I need my own guitar?
Yes. Having your own instrument is important for practice. If you forget yours one day, I've got spares you can borrow.
Do you offer group lessons?
No, one-to-one only, so I can focus fully on you and your progress.
Can I come every other week?
My model is built around weekly lessons, as it's the best way to build momentum. If you have something different in mind, get in touch and we can talk it through.
Where do lessons take place?
In my home studio in Bromley, a welcoming, relaxed space. Directions are provided once your slot is confirmed.
Who I teach
What ages do you teach?
Typically from age 7 upwards. Younger children sometimes aren't quite ready for focused lessons. If you're not sure, we can chat it through.
Do you teach beginners?
Absolutely. Many students start from scratch. Enthusiasm and steady effort matter far more than experience.
What styles do you teach?
A wide range: blues, folk, pop, rock, acoustic, electric. Lessons focus on skills that transfer across styles: rhythm, phrasing, tone, musicianship, and creativity.
